REMEDY at Duke signup sheet

Volunteer sessions will be held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings at Duke North Hospital and the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings at the Duke Medicine warehouse.

The REMEDY sorting area at Duke North Hospital is located on Level 0 (sub-basement) near the loading dock. From the main lobby, take the stairs to the left of the elevators down to Level 1. Turn right and follow signs to the "Duke North Loading Dock". When you get to the large automated doors the lead out to the loading dock, turn left and looks for the caged area with the REMEDY signs.


The Duke Medicine warehouse is located at 100 Golden Drive in Durham. From Erwin Rd take Morreene Rd for 1.5 mi; continue straight on Neal Rd for 0.5 mi past McMannen Methodist Church. Turn right on Golden Dr just before the RR crossing sign. Follow Golden Drive all the way to the right, continue past the Duke Medicine warehouse around to "additional parking" area in back near the loading docks.

We will be sorting, organizing and packing surplus medical supplies. This involves some lifting, bending and stooping. Wear comfortable clothes you will not mind getting slightly dirty and closed toed shoes -- NO SANDALS PLEASE! Gloves provided.
