WHY THIS SIGNUP SHEET?
The success of the Calgary Junior Field Hockey Program (CJP) relies on its volunteer base. To ensure that everyone does their fair share, we have introduced a volunteer signup program. CJP requires that each player submit a volunteer deposit of $100. Volunteer commitments will be managed through this signup sheet.

HOW DO I FULFILL MY VOLUNTEER OBLIGATION?
Once you complete a Volunteer Opportunity you will be assigned credits. Each athlete must fulfill FOUR Volunteer Credits.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY VOLUNTEER CHEQUE?
Your volunteer deposit cheque will be destroyed once four volunteer credits have been fulfilled.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Volunteer opportunities are listed below. Just click on the item and fill in your contact information when prompted. Please also include the athletes last name, if it differs from the volunteers.

HOW MANY CREDITS IS EACH TASK WORTH?
Volunteer credits are as follows:
Team Manager - 4 credits
Coach's Onfield Practice Helper - 4 credits
Team Snap Data Manager - 4 credits
Funstix Assistant - 4 credits
Volunteer Levy Coordinator - 2 credits
Uniform Coordinator - 4 credits
Photo Day Assistant - 1 credit
Year End Party Organizer - 2 credits
Equipment Manager - 4 credits
Equipment Pickup/Dropoff (1week) - 1 credit
Field Setup/Take Down (1 week) - 1 credit
CJP/Red Deer Festival - 2 credits
Club Championships - 2 credits
Athlete Sign-In - 1 credit

WHAT IS A FUNSTIX ASSISTANT?
The Funstix Assistant role is designed for U18 athletes to take responsibility for their volunteer obligations. Being a Funstix assistant is a great way for the athletes to give back to their sport. Coaches will direct assistants to set up and take down, lead drills, assist with skills and have fun!

When? Mondays or Tuesdays May 8/9 until June 25. Arrive at least 15 prior to practice time.
