LL Cares June Event : New Roots Community Garden signup sheet
Please join us for a morning of fun at the New Roots Community Garden from 10am-1pm on Thursday June 8th, (no school!)
The farm is located at 670 Grand Concourse at the corner of 153rd Street. (about a 20-25 minute ride from 96th St on the 4/5/6). We will meet at the farm at 10am. This project is open to up 25 people including students, teachers and parents. Siblings are welcome. All children must be accompanied by a chaperone.
The programming itself will probably be an hour and a half, but you are more than welcome to bring lunch and stay onsite to eat. The children will enjoy a farm tour, beekeeping demonstration and observation using our senses.
