🚨 Criminal Record Check Required 🚨

A valid Criminal Record Check is mandatory for all volunteers.

This optional initiative offers a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved at school by volunteering in the Grade 1 and 2 classroom. We are seeking parent volunteers to support one-on-one reading practice, helping students build confidence and strengthen their reading skills in a positive, supportive environment.

Volunteers will work individually with students and make a meaningful contribution to their learning.

Before volunteering, you must complete a Criminal Record Check (free for school volunteers) and submit all required paperwork.
Catherine Massey will provide the necessary forms and a confirmation letter for the Criminal Record Check through the local RCMP.

Volunteers are welcome to:
- Sign up for the reading session
- Stay for the remainder of the school day and join art activities afterward
- Note: There is a recess break from 2:00–2:15 PM

Alternatively, additional classroom support for any BCS teacher is always appreciated.
