Help us get local students ready for the school year with shoes and backpacks! Project Apple Tree will be at Belton Christian Youth Center (BCYC) on Saturday, August 13th from 8:30am-4:00pm. If you have any questions about volunteering, please email Bekah Prince at bekah@helpinghandsbelton.org.
*Volunteers must be 12 and older for this event*
Greeter: Help families work their way through the process (bilingual is a plus!).
Foot Measurers: Measure children's feet with provided equipment to make sure they get shoes that fit.
Sock Table: Fit each child with a pair of socks in the appropriate size.
Shoe Store: Help children and their families select a pair of shoes.
Check out: Check the pairs of shoes to make sure the left and right are the same size, package up shoes for the children to take home.
Backpack Station: Help children select a backpack for the upcoming school year.
Hygiene Pack Station: Pass out pre-made hygiene bags to children.
