I hope you all had a wonderful holidays and winter break!
Our 2018 HSS Crab Feed and Auction is approaching in a few months. We would like to ask you all once again for your kind donations of desserts of all types, whether it’s home baked or store bought are greatly appreciated. In return you will be rewarded with one parent volunteer hour for every $25 spent of your dessert donations. We also know that some home baked goods are intricately done by our HSS creative and amazing bakers. The time and effort you put in will be given an extra hour credit. Please remember to include any food allergens in the description of your donations like peanuts, soy, wheat, corn and gluten. Some bakeshops will include description of gluten free type of desserts. We will add these information on the tent cards with appropriate matching auction item number. We will prepare them in advance and we appreciate your kind participation.
Your donated desserts will be included in the silent auction during the school Crab Feed on March 17, 2018. This year Crab Feed theme is all about the '80s mixed with shamrocks and pot of gold to celebrate St. Patrick's day. Matching crab feed theme decorated desserts are welcome but not necessary for submissions. Our door opens at 4:30 pm for all the guests and we are requesting for all dessert donations to be dropped off to the school parish gym between 12pm to 3pm and no later than 3:30pm to be placed nicely and labeled appropriately on the dessert auction table. No late submissions will be accepted. Please also include the number of donated desserts when you submit the description of baked goods. We welcome all types of desserts like cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, pies, cookies, fruit baskets and fruit desserts, boxes or tower of candies or anything you can think of. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. An email reminder will be sent out to all as the date get closer to the event.
