Volunteers should meet at the East Side of the Courthouse Square near the corner of Main & Sycamore Streets for a brief informational session. Volunteers will work in teams to plant all the containers on the courthouse square, along Apperson Way, around downtown, on South Main St at Markland Ave., at Granny's Furniture on North Washington and in Artist Alley. Volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty, gloves and sun protection. Volunteers should bring small to medium-sized hand tools for planting in containers and/or larger gardening tools for weed removal in street & alley gardens. Small clippers are handy to have too.
