Come join us for an awesome day of freedom, fun, and trikes! The Hawaii Bicycling League will be participating in the 71st Annual Kailua Independence Day Parade coming up on July 4th, 2017 (Tuesday). The parade will go on from 10am-12pm, but parade participants must be in the staging area (Kailua Intermediate School) by 9am. Wear your best red, white, and blue patriotic attire! The parade attracts thousands of people and goes along Kainalu Drive - from Palapu Street to Kailua Intermediate School.

We will have five recumbent trikes for seniors (go to HBL.org/seniors for more information on the trikes) and decorations for everyone else who would like to bring out their own bikes (or trikes)! The trikes are open to current HBL members 50 years of age or better. If you will be riding your own bicycle/trike don't forget your helmet (required to ride with us)! Water bottles are also recommended since we'll be riding casually in the Hawaiian sun :)

If you have your own festive decorations we encourage you to bring it as HBL will have a limited supply of patriotic goodies.

*We will send out more information as the event gets closer, so please make sure you put down your correct email*
