Mākaha Time Trial signup sheet

HBL is hosting it's first time trial RACE on 2/1/26. The first race of 2026, the Mākaha Time Trial, is a 9 mile out and back course on the beautiful Waianae coast. The course starts just south of the Keawaula Beach parking lot and proceeds out and back along the freshly repaved Farrington Highway.

Sat 1/31 Packet Pickup will occur in Honolulu at The Bike Shop (1149 S King St, Honolulu, HI 96814)
All Sunday 2/1 shifts occur at Keawaula Beach (aka Yokohama) on Farrington Hwy, Waialua, HI 96791

Details about each role:

-HBL Tent: will help HBL staff set up, distribute bibs, distribute awards, and break down from our centralized tent.

-Timing Officials: first-time volunteers in this role will receive a race timing training by HBL staff prior to event.

-Start and Sweep/SAG: driving sweep vehicle on road behind riders.

-U-Turn Officials: will be working on the road alongside traffic at the turn around point. Lifting required. Safety gear will be provided.

-Medical Support Volunteer: providing basic First Aid at Start/Finish area and calling 911 in event of emergency. HBL will provide all first aid supplies and medical support guide.
