What is a Bike Rodeo?
SRTS has partnered with the Napa Police Department to help teach children bike safety. The children are taught basic traffic safety and how to properly wear a helmet. An obstacle course is set up that consists of different traffic scenarios such as stop signs, rail road crossings, intersections, and pedestrian crossings. The kids ride through the obstacle course practicing the safety lessons they just learned.

Volunteer Role/Duties:
-Help parents fill out consent forms and make sure they are collected for each child
-Help to fit children for helmets and make sure they're on correctly
-Be at one of the traffic stations (stop sign, rail road ect) and act out the position and make sure that kids are riding safely
