The City is holding two important public meetings on the project for a new pedestrian and bicycle connection over the Ala Wai (Ala Pono). It's a giant opportunity to create a safe bicycle and pedestrian crossing, better connecting our community, and enabling more people to walk and bike. Please come out to have your voice heard! We're going to be doing a group bike ride to the Monday September 24 6:30pm meeting. RSVP here and join us at 6:10pm at UH (corner of Dole & University) for the short, joyous ride down the hill to the meeting at Ala Wai Elementary. Of course, don't forget your helmet, lights, & safely functioning bike :)
While there's no group ride, the City will also be having a second public meeting on Saturday 1:00pm at Ala Wai El.
