Thanks for your interest in volunteering to help monitor river use at Missoula's popular river access areas this summer! Volunteers will be collecting data at 3 different sites this summer: Madison Street Footbridge, Buckhouse Bridge, and Sha-Ron. Read on to find out how you can get involved...
Step 1: Attend a Volunteer Training.
Step 2: Sign up for shift(s) using this sheet. Simply click on the day and location that you'd like to work on, and follow the instructions. After you sign up, you'll get an email confirming your shift. You'll also get a reminder email a few days before your shift.
Step 3: On the day of your shift, you'll be hanging out by the river for a few hours, counting the people you see using the access. You'll learn the protocol and steps you need to follow at a Volunteer Training.
Step 4: Do it again! We need a lot of help to get this project done. Sign up again using this sheet.
