2025 Giving Thanks NAAIA & Hands on Hartford Turkey Drive signup sheet

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS:
This year, our Turkey Distribution will be on Friday, November 21st. We are planning to have 2 volunteer shifts: 9:45am-1:30pm and 11:45am-5:00pm. For the first shift, we will need 7 volunteers and for the second shift, we will need 10 volunteers.

The first shift involves non “customer facing” activities such as lifting/moving/sorting/stocking. The second shift will be a mix of non "customer facing" activities and depending upon the role, may include providing “customer service” to our participants (greeting, escorting, handing out tickets, etc.). For the second shift, if there are those among you that enjoy customer facing activities and have the ability to showcase their bilingual English and Spanish skills; having your support with during this time will be very impactful when meeting and greeting folks.

Hands on Hartford will provide snacks, but we encourage volunteers bring a bagged lunch, or eat prior, if they don’t think snacks will suffice.

As for pre-info materials, Hands on Hartford will need everyone to fill out a one-day registration form ahead of time, if possible.

Parking: Please park in the free lot adjacent to our main parking lot as we are leaving our parking lot open for our participants.
