We are excited to once again participate in Alberta Transportation’s Highway Cleanup program to raise funds for our General Mission Trip Fund.
All chaperones must have a criminal record check (including vulnerable sector check) on file.
If you and/or your children would like to take part in the Highway Cleanup on Saturday, May 3, 2025, we need both adult and student volunteers. Please sign up using the links below—one for adults and one for children.
Important Information:
Children must be at least 9 years old to participate.
Younger participants (ages 9–12) should ideally be accompanied by a parent.
Funds raised from highway cleanup go towards our annual senior high general trip fund. Therefore those planning on attending a senior high trip this or in future years, are requested to participate or designate someone to participate in their place.
We have added a dedicated volunteer spot for an Adult First Aid Person at each cleanup location. This person must have a valid first aid certificate, or be a registered nurse (RN) or doctor. This will help ensure we have a qualified first aid provider on-site without needing to make last-minute arrangements.
If the sign-up sheet is full, please contact Mrs. Massey directly to volunteer. We appreciate all the help we can get!
Further details will be shared with volunteers as we get closer to the event.
Cleanup Locations:
📍 Location 1: Highway 23 (Jct Hwy 24 to Range Road 255)
Approximately 30 minutes east of High River on Hwy 23.
Continue past the Brant turnoff for about 4–5 miles.
📍 Location 2: Highway 24 (between Hwy 901 and Hwy 1)
Starts at the intersection of Hwy 901 and Hwy 24.
Extends past Cheadle (home of the "big cheesie") to the Hwy 1 intersection.
Thank you for your support in making this fundraiser a success!
