Join Riverkeeper and Trees New York in caring for tree beds in West Harlem. We will be helping with stewardship projects mainly consisting of mulching existing beds and helping care for your urban canopy. Urban forests help reduce runoff into waterways by soaking up and holding water. Additionally, the canopy reduces urban heat island effect, helping keep summer cooler in the city!
