Spook-O 2015 signup sheet

Halloween-themed event, 3pm - 9pm Saturday October 24. Spook O is tons of fun for the whole family! We need volunteers of all abilities! Jobs are super fun! Kids and parents can fill roles. If you'd like to help but aren't sure where your skills would best be used, just let us know and we can match you with a role.

Volunteer Roles:
Organizer - oversees the entire Spook-O event
Course Planners - Set 2 courses in Confederation park, one will be a course 1 point to point where kids collect items to make a prize at the end and course 2 will also be point to point, longer, a bit more difficult with spooky controls.
Course Set up - Help the course planner put out controls in the right places, some orienteering experience needed.
Registration - help parents and kids check in and direct them to the start, help with check out after courses are finished and direct people to the indoor social.
Handing out Candy - we ask this to be an adult who would dress up (non scary for the little kids course and scary for the spooky course) walk around the course with a basket full of candy and get kids to trick or treat for candy.
Chief of Spooks - Coordinate spook supplies pick-up from club storage. Plan spook themes with Spooks
Food Coordinator - pick up soup from Simple Simon, pick up buns and pies from Costco and deliver to church. Help food helpers with directions to serve food.
Food Helper - help reheat soup, put out buns, butter and desserts, assist with clean up
Craft Planner - plan a simple craft
Craft helper - help kids put together their collection course item, then help with simple halloween craft
Outdoor Game leader - round up kids for a outdoor game. Boundaries can be lit up with lights (provided) lead the game
Flag pick-up - Help bring in controls. The more help the better so we can clean up the course and enjoy the party!
