1st December 2024 - Chipping Sodbury Christmas Sunday - Coconut Shy - St John's Mead School PTA signup sheet

Chipping Sodbury Christmas Sunday (previously named "Victorian Day") is an annual event in Chipping Sodbury High Street. In recent years the PTA has run a stall to raise funds for the school. We plan to run our "Coconut Shy" game again at this year's event which will take place on Sunday 1st December. The event is open to the public from 1100-1730 and we need 2 adult volunteers to run the stall between these times. This involves engaging with the public, taking money, giving change, explaining the (simple!) coconut shy rules. It's usually a lot of fun to run the stall, school families and other members of the public really enjoy the game, and it has generally been a good fundraiser as well!

We regret that due the nature of the game (fast-flying balls and coconuts in a small gazebo) we cannot allow children to volunteer on the stall.)
