Parent Volunteers are urgently needed to help keep our tuckshop running efficiently and to facilitate necessary expansion. The tasks are easy - supervised preparation of food, re-stocking serving areas and fridges and serving the students at the break. No qualifications are required, however we do ask that volunteers have a Working with Children Blue Card - this is quite easy to apply for and is free for voluntary workers - we can help you with the process of obtaining one. If you can come in from 8.30am until 2.30pm on a day you are rostered that is particularly helpful, but if you can't manage that time you could just let us know what you can do. Your lunch and tea and coffee are provided on the day and the only other requirements are that you wear closed in shoes and have long hair tied back. Why not try it, it's a great way to meet new people and maybe learn some new skills as well.
