Volunteers are needed to make pack 60 lunches and deliver them to The Father’s Heart Street Ministry, a nonprofit in Oregon City that feeds the homeless and hungry in our area. Their target group is the ever-growing homeless population, which includes families living in vehicles, seniors, veterans, single mothers, single fathers and single individuals. They give back dignity by providing resources for basic human needs. All of the food is supplied for this project and a lead will be there to give you instructions. Your assistance is needed to pack the non-perishables in bags (Sunday, Nov. 18, 9:45-10:30 - kids can help); make sandwiches (Monday, Nov. 19, 6:30-7:30 pm) and deliver the lunches to Oregon City (Tuesday, Nov. 30, 9:00-10:00 am). Children are welcome to help, along with their parents.
