This will be a day trip filled with fun! We’ll have a docent-led tour of the three off-exhibit greenhouses, housing over 10,000 orchids. Brandon Tam at HBG suggested this time of year to see many orchids in bloom. We’ll also visit the laboratory to see how orchids are pollinated, flasked and grown into seedlings. Cost for the bus trip is $40 per person. Admission is free! SDCOS will provide bottled water and snacks for the trip. Lunch options are available at cafes and restaurants on the grounds or pick a nice spot to enjoy a picnic packed at home. There is so much to do and see here! Also, you will have free admission to the grounds of the Huntington Library to explore the museums and various gardens. Non-members are welcome too! Sign-up now! Space is limited to 40 persons due to the special tours
