International Children's Festival Volunteer Opportunities signup sheet
On Sunday, April 29, 20+ embassies will join The Culturfied Foundation for the only multicultural international Children’s Festival in the DC area.
From noon to 4:00 PM, the airy atrium of the Ronald Reagan International Center will transform into a multinational cultural center with colorful booths, displays, dance, food, crafts and entertainment created by the participating embassies. Tickets are free and open to the public.
Embassy participants include African Union, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, Ghana, Haiti, Indonesia, Kenya, Lithuania, Mongolia, Panama, Philippines, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Sweden, Turkey and Uruguay.
The popular festival, last held in 2012 under the auspices of The Meridian Group, offers children of all ages a unique opportunity to interact with people from cultures other than their own. This is the only such event in the DC area that focuses on children.
