Volunteer readers can provide a positive reading experience for children and can help get them excited about books. Come to our parish preschool on a weekday morning during “free time” and sit by the reading center in the classroom. Before long, you will have a child coming to snuggle up to have a book read. And, soon after, you will have a group of children around you who want also want to hear the story. The children love it, and you will too!
