Perhaps one of the most vital and rewarding roles you can play as a volunteer is to become a homeroom representative, called a Group Parent. As a Group Parent, you will be supporting Windward Students, the classroom teachers and the WPA.

• Group Parents are asked to compile a list of parent emails to be used for communicating.
• Support Division Representatives with grade level social events for the children.
• Support Division Representatives with grade level social events for the parents i.e. a cocktail party or potluck.
• Work with the homeroom teachers to disseminate information to the class for events such as seasonal parties and other information pertaining to the homeroom.
• Build community relations by facilitating group gatherings such as coffees/casual get togethers.
