By covering the partnership of Gardendale-Mt. Vernon UMC and GracePoint in prayer, we are following the Biblical guidance given us in 1 Thessalonians 5. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus". You can pray anywhere you are at the time(s) you select. You may pray silently, verbally, read scriptures, or simply sit silently and experience God's presence.
