2017 Victorian All Schools Swimming Championships - Thursday 9th March 2017 signup sheet

MSAC - THURSDAY 9th MARCH 2017 - WARM UP FROM 5.00pm, RACING FROM 5.45pm

Thank you so much for offering your time to support the Bayside Swimming Club community by volunteering at the 2017 Victorian All Schools Swimming Championships.

Volunteering is part of being a Bayside swimming club member so please embrace it and enjoy it!

Please find below the jobs on offer, select a job and time that suits! And don’t forget – Lets See RED!!! Please wear your Bayside shirts, hats whatever you can find.

NOTE: The below are indicative times ONLY.

TIMEKEEPER:
No experience necessary! Positioned at the end of each lane, press electronic timer. Full training given. BEST VIEW IN THE HOUSE - PLUS YOU GET FED! (Relief timekeepers will be able to give you a break).

TIMEKEEPER FLOATER / RELIEF:
On call throughout the session to relieve timekeepers and cover for those who need to leave early/start late.

MARSHALLING: Ensuring swimmers are checked in, know their lane and ready to head to the blocks on time!
(Must have current Working with Children Check!)

COMPUTER/AOE ROOM (Automatic Officiating Equipment Room):
Computer room, events and athlete list, scoreboard.

AOE ROOM RUNNER:
Deliver messages between AOE room & officials and volunteers, pin up results.
(A responsible non-swimming sibling volunteer would be great!)

ANNOUNCING:
PA Announcements

PHOTOGRAPHER:
Positioned on pool deck throughout the racing, need good photographers to take photos for the website. Bayside Swimming Club run this meet so we need plenty of photos to put on the Vic All Schools website.
(Must have current Working with Children Check!)

CATERING:
Responsible for providing refreshments and food to the officials and volunteers on the night.
