Friday May 26 - Saturday May 27, 2017 @ PHS Cafeteria and Scandia Fairfield
We have 4 crews at different stages of the event. If you wish to stay in Shingle Springs, choose from Crew A and/or B. If you want to experience the maximum FUN, then go to Scandia in Fairfield by signing up for Crew C or D. Adult volunteers only; MUST BE AGE 25 or older; NO student volunteers. All party volunteers must register with Sober Grad Night on this website.
CREW A > PHS Setup Crew - Help with early evening setup of the check-in tables at the PHS Cafeteria. Have fun decorating and doing food and beverage setup before the graduates arrive. No senior parent volunteers for check-in setup... you will be at graduation!
CREW B > PHS Check-In & Bus Boarding - Help with student arrival, screening, check-in, food/beverage hosting, security, bus boarding, and clean-up. The grads come straight to the cafeteria for check-in and processing as they await their coach bus arrival. This is our "holding tank" where we conduct screening, confirm bus assignments, followed by a bit of excited socializing and food/drink as they get ready to ride over to the party venue. No senior parent volunteers for check-in... you will be at graduation!
CREW C > Scandia Setup Crew - EARLY (Private car or carpool) - This small crew goes to Scandia in Fairfield early for prep of the venue, set up the various attractions, food buffet, decorate, fill helium balloons, etc. Set-up crew volunteers are welcome to stay all night as chaperones at the party, too. No senior parent volunteers for Scandia Set Up Crew... you will be at graduation!
CREW D > Coach Bus & Scandia Chaperones - Up to 24 fun yet watchful-eyed parent chaperones (minimum 4 per bus) serve as hosts on each coach bus and account for the graduates on and off the buses roundtrip from PHS to Scandia. Start with bus loading at the PHS Cafeteria, ride the bus with the graduates, then once at Scandia, chaperones work various areas of the party, serve as Photographer or Casino Card Dealers (see below), help with security, and enjoy some of the fun and food perks! This is overnight, arriving home around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
CASINO CARD DEALERS > Deal Blackjack or Poker at custom tables; ideal to have experience and knowledge of rules of the games. Can also double as Chaperone via Crew D above. This is overnight, arriving home around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
