Mr. Scrooge will play at the Wade James Theater, Edmonds from November 25 (the Friday after Thanksgiving) through December 18, 2016
We are looking for a cast of 9-12 adults (ages 18 - 75) and 4-6 children (ages 5 - 13).

We are planning to add a "steampunk" element or flair to costumes and set design. This is not the typical version of The Christmas Carol nor is it Scrooge, the Musical.

* Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14 from 7 - 10pm.
* Callbacks are scheduled for Saturday, September 17 from 10 - 4pm. Actors must be available for Callbacks.

Rehearsal times/dates are scheduled for Monday - Thursday from 7 - 10pm.

* CORRECTION: Please prepare prepare one monologue under 60 seconds and 32 bars of a Christmas carol of your choice. Please bring sheet music, no acapella. Pianist will be available for accompaniment.

* Auditions will be located in the Training Room at the Admin Office, 306 Main Street - Lower Level 1 (below the Bank of America), entrance on south side of the building.

*Callbacks on Saturday will be located in the Rehearsal Annex at 200 Dayton Street, Edmonds, 98020

Casting information: many of the adult actors will get cast as multiple parts, so we are looking for people that can exhibit a large range when it comes to characters.

Cast List:
Ebenezer Scrooge – Male, age 50-75, a miserly old man who detests everything merry and jolly.
Bob Cratchit – Male, age 30-50, a timid man who works for Scrooge. Loving husband of Mrs. Cratchit and doting father to Martha, Harry, Elsie, and Tiny Tim.
Jacob Marley – Male, age 30-50, Scrooge’s old business partner who has been dead for 7 years.
First Ghost – Male, age 30-50. Christmas Past.
Second Ghost – Male, age 18-30. Christmas Present.
Third Ghost – Female, age 18-30. Christmas Yet to Come.
Mrs. Cratchit – Female, age 30-50, a kind woman. Caring wife of Bob Cratchit and nurturing mother to Martha, Harry, Elsie, and Tiny Tim.
Fred – Male, age 18-25, Scrooge’s nephew. Nothing like his uncle, he loves the spirit of Christmas.
Mrs. Dilber – Female, age 30-50, Scrooge’s housekeeper. Though careful and dutiful, she secretly hates her greedy employer.
Isabel – Female, age 18-25, Scrooge’s long lost fiancé. She has to make the difficult decision of leaving Scrooge because of his lust for money.
Young Scrooge – Male, age 18-25. Scrooge’s former self. He still has love for Isabel despite his changing personality.
Mr. Fezziwig – Male, age 30-50. Scrooge’s former boss. A jolly man, husband to Mrs. Fezziwig.
Mrs. Fezziwig – Female, age 30-50. A joyful woman, wife to Mr. Fezziwig.
Mr. Sharkey – Male, age 30-50. A con man who, with the help of Mrs. Dilber, sells off Scrooge’s belongings.
Martha – Female, age 16-18. The eldest of the Cratchit children.
Harry – Male, age 10-13. The second eldest of the Cratchit children.
Elsie – Female, age 10-13. The third eldest of the Cratchit Children.
Tiny Tim - Male or Female, age 5-10, a young, fragile child with a heart of gold. The youngest of the Cratchit children.
Ensemble parts include: Undertaker, the undertakers assistant, School Marm, Felicity, school girls, towns people, dancers, etc.

All actors cast in the show, receive a $50 travel stipend.
