Rivers Edge Ultra will be held this year on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018. All volunteer roles below are for that day. Now in its fourth year, Rivers Edge offers distances of 12km, 50km, 80km or 100km through the beautiful river valley outside Devon, Alberta. The race organizers built this race with the purpose of helping a cause dear to their hearts and family, the Olive Tree Projects. Olive Tree is a a humanitarian privately managed grass roots not for profit birthing/maternity centre in Jacmel, Haiti. They rely solely on donations to do the amazing work they do for children, mothers, and families in need. All profits from this run go to the Olive Tree Projects. You can be a part of this great race and its cause by donating your time and enjoying all the festivities there will be on race day! Besides the race itself, we have an after-party with great food, massage, music and bonfire! Overnight camping is available as well as showers. It's a great day and an amazing purpose behind it all.
