Arboretum Fall Plant Sale Volunteer Signup Sheet (Friday 10/14 & Sat. Sale Day 10/15)

Please only sign up for one shift per time slot but you are welcome to sign up for consecutive shifts if you wish to work a longer day or multiple days.
Thank you for volunteering!!

Site preparation: raking, weeding, lifting & relocating branches and large pieces of bark, etc.
Help our staff & student workers to clear debris and make room for cars to park and plants to be sold!

Plant Moving Day: bending, lifting, walking on uneven ground (lunch provided) - am & pm shifts
Do you have a truck you could drive & we could load up with plants? Must have an open bed. (Friday and/or Saturday)

Sales Ticket Writer: Standing, Tallying Plants, Instructing customer to take ticket (not plants) to cashier - am & pm shifts
Wheelbarrow valet: Standing, assisting customer in transporting plants to car, bringing barrow back to sale area
Parking assistance: am & pm
Floater - help out where most needed, Saturday
Clean up: sale ends, moving plants, tables, chairs, etc. back to Hort buildings

We will send reminder emails out the week prior to the sale with what to bring (water, hat, sunscreen, snacks or lunch, layers, etc.) plus parking and work instructions.
