North Peace Performing Arts Festival Volunteer Sign Up - Glenmary School Venue - 2020

Hi Everyone! It is almost time for the 2020 North Peace Music Festival to begin. The North Peace Performing Arts Festival Association team is made up of a dedicated team of volunteers, but the Volunteers we need the most are you! We need volunteers to come and enjoy some amazing local talent while volunteering no more than 3 hours of your time. You can choose the day and time, and even what venue you would like to volunteer for. And you can volunteer multiple times too!
We have four spots that need to be filled each session.
1. Door Marshall - Welcomes people to the festival, sells raffle tickets and programs, and helps to maintain quite during performances.
2. Music Marshall - Welcomes performers, signs them in and collects their music. The music is put in order of performance and then given to the Adjudicator Secretary. You also help to keep the quiet during performances.
3. Adjudicator Secretary announces the performers and their pieces before each performance. They help the adjudicator by making sure the music is in the order of the program, and placing stickers on the certificates.
4. The Venue Host Keeps track of any changes to the program (participant not coming, performers switching time slots, etc), and records the times and rough audience numbers. You will greet the adjudicator and introduce him/her to the volunteer in the adjudicator secretary. You will start and end the sessions with a pre-written text, and answer any questions that people may have, or direct them to a festival team member who can help.
All positions are amazingly easy, we will have someone on hand at each venue to help you, as well as a written copy of your job description. We really appreciate your help!
