The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica and Mobile Education Center will arrive at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on May 9, 2018. The opening ceremonies will commence at 7.p.m. on May 9 and The Wall That Heals will remain on exhibit through the afternoon of May 13, 2018. We are recruiting volunteers to watch over TWTH while it is on the State Capitol grounds. Volunteers will provide assistance to visitors to help locate names and answer general questions. Volunteers are needed for the entire duration of TWTH's stay in Harrisburg.
Volunteers who register for a time slot will receive a confirmation email and tip sheet with further details, including parking information. Volunteer t-shirts will be provided to those individuals who commit to at least one block of time. After you do so, please scroll to the bottom of the page to register your t-shirt size in the appropriate category. Questions? Contact Dawn Orvis at 717-772-0500.
The Wall That Heals and the Mobile Education Center provide Vietnam Veterans and their families the opportunity to share the healing of The Wall without having to travel to Washington D.C.
