The Tiny House Movement is coming to Northeast Florida!!

Here's your opportunity to get involved, meet vendors, builders, enthusiasts, and some of the movers and shakers in the tiny house world!

Volunteers are needed to work 4-hour shifts in a number of different areas. Because giving back to the community is a significant goal of the United Tiny House Association, each volunteer will be able to credit a donation of $10 per hour back to their identified non-profit charity in St Johns County, or the surrounding counties. 1 shift $40, 2 shifts $80, etc....

After the first shift worked, the volunteer will receive free entrance to the festival. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, and have access to food, drink and water in the hospitality area.

After you have signed up for your shift(s), please click on the link at the bottom of the sheet. You will be directed to a form where you can fill in the information for the charity you are supporting with your volunteer service. We will need their address and contact information, and they will receive a check for $10 per hour for all combined hours worked for that charity within 10 days following the event.

Volunteer Job Descriptions:

Volunteer/vendor check-in Just like it sounds! Check in volunteers as they arrive for their shift, and vendors as they arrive. Assist Admission volunteers as necessary. You will be seated, with shade.

Admission- Check pre-purchased tickets, sell admission, put wristbands on attendees. This will be a busy position. Primarily seated, with shade.

Set Up- Assist event organizers with directing vendors and exhibitors to their spaces, assist speakers with setting up for their session. Help move chairs and set up speaking and staging areas as needed. This is an active position.

Parking- Assist with parking visitors on the 40 acre hard lot available. There will be shade and seats, but this is also an active position.

Campsite Host- Assist on-site campers (not exhibitors) in locating their campsite. Be available for questions, information. This will be primarily seated, with shade.

Information- Assist visitors, distribute schedules, provide information. Seated, with shade, but a very busy position!

Trash- Assist with site clean up during event. Volunteers will be provided with trash bags, gloves, trash picker uppers and a golf cart!

Runner- Carry supplies, messages, and equipment between areas and staff during the festival. You will be provided a golf cart.

Hospitality- Assist our caterers with with hospitality for speakers and volunteers. This position is indoors with air conditioning!

Kid Zone- Work with various children's creative activities. This is NOT babysitting, but an area for our younger visitors and their parents to get creative! Moderately active position, but with seating and shade.

Site Clean Up- Join us on the day after as we clean up from the fun of the 2016 Florida Tiny House Festival!!
