May is Asthma Awareness Month and the Jerome Alston Memorial Foundation is joining with thousands of organizations to increase public awareness of the asthma epidemic. This cause is near and dear to my heart because I lost my dad in December 2012 to asthma related complications.
Asthma affects more than 25 million people of all ages and races. And although it is a widespread disease, public awareness of common asthma triggers as well as effective asthma management strategies remain limited.
