Marketing committee member - general, Work with our board and coaches on various Kronos marketing initiatives, including advertising, events, clothing / branding items, website, social media and outdoor signage. Experience with marketing would be an asset,

Marketing committee member - Digital Marketing / Website Expert - The Kronos marketing committee is looking for somebody with experience in the area sof SEO, Google Adwords, facebook marketing, analytics, Mailchimp and other digital marketing topics. This marketing position will involve supporting the coaches and marketing committee with on-line strategy, website updates, and other digital marketing items.

Auditor -Auditor - Review the books, accounts and records of our treasurer and secretary. Provide a report back to the board and an executive summary for inclusion in our AGM package. Review usually takes place mid october over a two week period. Accounting credentials are not required

Grants & Sponsorship Coordinator - As a member of our Fundraising committees, the Grants & Sponsorship co-ordinator will research and apply for funding opportunities available through government, sports organizations, and larger corporate community sponsorship programs. Examples may include programs such as Canadian Tire jumpstart program, BMO corporate giving program, or various programs through the Canadian Sports Institute. The ideal candidate for this volunteer position would be somebody with experience writing grant applications, business presentations, or other types of proposals. Modest computer skills (word/powerpoint) would also be an asset. Facility Co-Ordinator Work with our coaches and programs committee to secure facilities, ensure timely payment through our finance committee, and make occasional schedule changes through the year.

Membership Administration / Registrar - • This position qualifies for significant volunteer credits. Please contact club president Corrado Cultrera corrado.cultrerra@trikronos.com for more information • Year long position Assist our coaches by setting up programs in our registration system, managing membership lists, setting up accounts in Microsoft Office365/outlook, and handling occasional inquiries from athletes & parents.

Race Director in Training - • 3 year position • 2 positions available, common for one family to take both. • Significant credits available, please discuss with Kronos president Assist our current race director with planning and operating the Calgary Kids of Steel, Calgary’s premiere triathlon even for ages 4-19, owned & operated by Kronos. Year 1 – assist / train under the current director, Year 2- run the race on your own, Year 3 – run the race and teach somebody else. This position is supported by various race captains (swim, bike, run, transition etc.), volunteer coordinator, board members, and over 100 race day volunteers.

Swim Captain - responsible for organizing swim heats, and operations on the pool deck.

Transition Captain - design & setup the transition, work with a team of volunteers to check-in athletes and operate the transition area during the race.

Safety Captain - review and implement safety plans for athletes and volunteers

Registration Captain - work with our vendors to setup on-line registration, track registrations and help organize heats.

Equipment Manager - assist captains with obtaining and organizing equipment, work with vendors and other contractors to ensure all equipment needs are met for the race. Organize a team to set things up on race day.

Bike Captain -organize, setup and operate our race course

Run Captain -organize, setup and operate the run course.

Race Package Captain - organize our race packages, including contents, stuffing and distribution to athletes.

Finish Line Captain - organize all aspects around the finish line

Food Captain - organize and operate our food tables, water stations, and volunteer hydrations

Sponsorship Captain - seek out sponsors to donate cash, equipment, services and prizes

Volunteer coordinator for CKOS They will shadowing the current volunteer coordinator. They will help create the sign up spreadsheet, and help organize and coordinate the volunteers for race day.
