Getting construction going on the Leeward Bikeway, by 2016, is one of HBL’s main priorities. The Leeward Bikeway has been in the works for 33 years. Once complete 23 miles of bikeway will connect the Aloha Stadium all the way to Nanakuli! HBL’s Leeward Advocacy Campaign is in full swing with community champion advocates spreading the word. If you want to be one - come on the ride us on June 4th! We’ll be riding round-trip from West Loch Community Shoreline Park to Kahe Point Beach Park. We’ll refuel in Kapolei and at Ko Olina. Join this ride to know the in’s and out’s. We expect those who participate to be part of the advocacy campaign going forward.
