Come join the fun as we prepare the first free book store in Montgomery County and help people find books that they will fall in love with.
All books are free Always! Velocity of Books NEVER sells books.
Please note that ONLY volunteer opportunities noted with (SSL) are open to SSL students.
All SSL Students must be 16 and older or accompanied by an adult. We appreciate your patience. Once the store is open and we sort out the logistics, we will open the SSL Opportunities to younger participants. SSL students are expected to be active participants in the volunteer experience. You are not permitted to play on your phone. We don't anticipate any issues, but students who are asked more than once to get off their phones will be asked to leave.
This is a joyous occasion and it is expected that your focus will be on either preparing for guests or helping them find books of interest.
